Hash Plant is arguably the most well known modern Indica marijuana strain around the world - save for fellow legend G-13, perhaps. Like the name suggests, Hash Plant has a spicy, hashy taste that's sharp when smoked, and a fast-acting body effect that can numb pain and calm nerves. Its dense buds are highly resinous and give off a rich Afghani aroma that is a signature of the strain. And yes, it's an ideal strain for making hash.
Hash Plant Crossed with Northern Lights
This mostly Indica strain originated as cuttings that were smuggled out of the Pacific Northwest in the 1980s and brought to Sensi Seed Bank's breeding program in Holland. Over the years, Hash Plant was crossed with many different males in search of seeds that could do justice to Hash Plant's heritage. Eventually, a male Northern Lights #1 plant was crossed with Hash Plant and then back-crossed into the original Hash Plant mother to create the strongest example thus far and the birth of the Hash Plant seed strain. This cross became the foundation of many of Sensi Seed's signature strains, but was not widely available until it re-released by the seed bank in 1999.
Hash Plant Brings a Large Yield In Little Time
Hash Plant is ideal for indoor marijuana gardens with its large yield and remarkably short flowering time. The plants short and chunky profile does well in SOG (sea of green) gardens, thriving in soil and hydroponic growing mediums. And, cloning Hash Plant is easy.
